Hello there ! I'm planning to make a imitation of the "Berk" from the movie "How to train your dragon". And , (for those who don't know) this viking "village" is on a high cliff island with a big mountain onto it . I can say that is kind of a vulcanic island .
So , to reduce the time of literally "building " that island I was hoping in a program that will let me do something like that . If I remember corectly , I saw a video about a builder using some kind of editing program .
If u know anything about this , pls tell me . And , it will be even better if u know what is the best editing program ... what I want is something that will let me make the island + the moutain with not so much effort (not a mod). Some kind of a 3D House Design IRL but , in Minecraft that will allow me to put multiple blocks on a click , erase them , choosing what type of block to use , to make squares , cubes , that will allow "moving " around it to get more sides of view ...
I don't know how to explain more about this , the thing is that I have seen something like this on a YT channel , but that was a long time ago (like 6 months) .
MCEdit has had generally good reviews, but I've not used it in some time and it was last updated in 2016.
MCEdit-Unified and MCEdit2 are more current but also do not support 1.13 although there i stalk they may in the future
The Amulet editor has announced they intend to support the new format introduced for 1.13, but do not appear to have a released version as yet.
World Painter offers a bit less power, but may be easier to install [It also does not yet appear to support 1.13. The home page suggests creating the desired world in 1.12.2 (without using any of the new blocks), then updating to 1.13.n.]
