I also think that it should be called “The Aquatic Update” because that just makes more sense to me and sounds better to me. I’m just gonna pretend that’s the name of it and not care what anyone else says.

    I find out something.

As I entered the Nether, a ghast deactivated my Portal. So I figured I should just die in the nether since I didn't have anything to re-light it. So I jump into an ocean of lava. When I spawn into the normal world and go back to the Nether, I saw that a brand new Nether Portal spawned behind the deactivated one. Weird shiz.

I think Notch has a secret in the Nether, people think the purpose of the Nether is just to kill Z/P's and Ghasts and to collect Glowstone and Netherrack. I think there is something interesting beneath those endless layers of lava.

Nobody goes to the Nether just to kill Zombie Pigmen because even with Enchanted diamond armor a horde of ZP's will kill someone in less than a minute. Most people go to the Nether to kill Ghasts, Blazes, and Wither Skeletons. I don't think Notch is hiding any interesting secrets beneath the lava but you could go into creative and find out... What you will find is most likely just bedrock though.

Sorry about that. However, wouldn't it be best to have Netherbrick Fence Gates to match the fences?

Yeah I guess that would be better but rather than have Nether Brick Fence Gates and Iron fences and fence gates I thought you could only add one item (the Iron Fence Gate) to pair up with the Nether Brick Fence. That would be easier than adding 3 items and I think the bright white of the Iron Fence Gates would match better with the darkness of the Nether Brick Fences.

I like the idea of trapdoors for each wood type and think it'd be best they matched their door counterparts. However, iron bars aren't like fences, they're one block tall, so either this needs to change or the iron fence gates would need to be one block tall to match the bars.

    Partial Support

Well that's why I was talking about pairing the Iron Fence Gates with Netherbrick Fences instead of Iron Bars... But if you read the post you would know that

With all the new combat changes coming in 1.8 the Iron Fence Gate would help. And for the wood suggestion... well, still support.

I assume you meant 1.9 because it is The Combat Update...

The exploration is finding the resources your just giving them to people for free...

I'm not giving them away for free!!!! That would be sooooooo stupid!!!! You have to craft a brewing stand or furnace and put it in the slot (where you don't get it back) before you get the portable version.

I'm sorry, but this is very OP. Even though fuel takes up faster, the furnace just doesn't cut it. Making it go faster also is extremely OP and will not cut working.

The brewing stand is also OP. Even though only 1 potion is available to brew, making it faster would be faster compared to only brewing one normal potion in the normal brewing stand.

    No Support, sorry

Well it wouldn't really be that much faster than the normal one. Only by like 3 seconds so you don't have to wait as long. But I guess if you would be okay with waiting even longer than the regular brewing stand and furnace just so it's not as OP then I will change it specifically for you and give you credit.

Maybe the Furnace one can only take a limited amount of items for fuel before it goes away, and for the Anvil GUI the anvil gets damaged sooner.

Because I want the Brewing Stand and the Furnace to be faster than the original so you don't have to keep waiting then maybe because it goes faster than the regular furnace the fuel runs out faster like you said. Once you smelt 100 items you will have to put another furnace into the slot to get it back.

Maybe in the menu there are empty spaces where you can put the item the GUI was originally in into, and then you get the GUI in the menu? That would make more sense putting a furnace GUI in it.

Also, yeah I agree that the crafting one should still be in the original inventory as it would take a lot of getting used to and it's the most used thing.

Yeah that might be better than having it just randomly appear but all of them would still need some kind of thing so you would still use the original item, rather than the portable one, if you had one or the materials to craft one.

If you add too many GUIs in the inventory, it would leave no space, so maybe in the inventory there is something that will take you to a menu of all of them.

Also, maybe add the things that anvils and enchantment tables have.

Yeah I was thinking that there could be a different screen with all the GUIs. Maybe only the crafting grid is in your inventory then to bring up the other ones you press the 'G' key. I was thinking about also adding anvils, enchanting tables, furnaces, and more but I couldn't think of a way to make them like the crafting grid where you still need the actual item for the full abilities of it but you get a portable one with less abilities. So if you think of a way I can make the other things have less abilities I will add portable versions of them to the suggestion as well.

I think this is a really good idea, and would work quite well, although I think a portable brewing stand should have some durability to it, otherwise people would never need a brewing stand again. Maybe after 10 or so potions the stand will break and you will have to build a new one.

I tried to make it so people would still use a brewing stand kind of like how you still need a crafting table even though you have the crafting grid. I think there should be something like durability although I can't really do that because it wouldn't really be an item that you craft. You would craft a regular brewing stand and get a portable one in your inventory along with the crafting grid. Although maybe for every 3 potions you brew it gets slower and slower until it's so slow you just have to do something to make it speed up again... Suggestions for what that thing is are recommended .

I was thinking about how many things you can actually craft in the Crafting Grid (it might not seem like a lot but there actually is) and I thought it would be cool if there were other portable GUIs in your inventory! Also to avoid taking up too much space in your inventory only the Crafting Grid will stay in your inventory and to bring up all the others you press the 'G' key while in your inventory. At first it will be blank but it will have slots that you put items in to get a portable version of it on this screen. The items get taken away to give you the portable version. When it runs out put another one into the slot and it will come back with full durability.

    Portable Brewing Stand:

The first idea I thought of was to make a portable Brewing Stand! Similar how the crafting grid is smaller than the Crafting Table causing you to be able to craft less stuff you would only be able to brew one potion at a time. If you close your inventory the potion and ingredients will be thrown on the ground and you have to restart it brewing. For every 3 potions you brew it looses some durability until it runs out and you have to put a new brewing stand in the slot.

    Portable Furnace:

Once you smelt/cook 100 items you need to put a new Furnace into the slot and then you can smelt 100 more and so on. If you close your inventory it will also throw out the items so you have to go pick them up and start it smelting/cooking again.

    Portable Enchanting Table:

You would put in the object you want to enchant and then you put in 4 pieces of Lapis Lazuli to get a level one enchantment and 7 pieces of Lapis Lazuli for a level 2 enchantment. Level 3 enchantments are not available from the portable enchanting table. It will also take more XP for each enchantment. After enchanting 10 items the durability runs out so you will have to put a new enchanting table in the slot to get another one.

There are pictures in the attachments. If you have any ideas on how I can include other GUIs please tell me in the comments.

They didn't add rubies for a reason which is that Dinnerbone is colorblind so he can't tell the difference between Ruby Ore and Redstone Ore.

What are you talking about? The whole reason they made Ruby Ore look like Emerald Ore but red is so it WOULDN'T get confused with Redstone even though they are both the same color!
