Firstly, it's unrealistic. Rubbies have hardness 9 and diamonds 10, so diamonds are harder in real.

Secoundly, it's a next useless ore suggestion. There's really no need of adding new tiers of tools and armour.

    No support.

What do you mean "unrealistic"!? It's Minecraft!! So what if in real life diamonds are harder than ruby!? If Minecraft was actually realistic I'm sure the whole game would be a lot different! And not in a good way!

Also you should make polls just Yes and No if possible, no extra text, e.g, "No being a PE exclusive crop makes it special!", only No is needed.

I used to do that but I thought adding some extra stuff at the end would make more people want to vote... whatever

Beetroot is a Pocket Edition exclusive crop. But I think it should be added to the PC version of Minecraft. I'm not sure why it's not on PC but I think it should be added along with the Beetroot Seeds and Beetroot Soup! Maybe it could also have some other use like making a potion of Resistance. I'm not sure what else I can say about this so the suggestion is going to have to be pretty short. Any way if you have any ideas on what else Beetroot could be used for then tell me in the comments.

    Indent your paragraphs.

I tried but I can't. When I press tab it just brings me to the bottom of the page, when I press space in front of the paragraphs it just undoes it... wait what am I talking about!? Why do you even care if my paragraphs are indented!? Shouldn't you be more focused on not supporting my suggestion!?

Completely uncreative and unrealistic... rubies have been a topic for years, and diamond will always be the top tier armor/tool material.

What do you mean "unrealistic"!? It's Minecraft! Barely any of it is realistic so why should this be!?

No please no. Also, where is the link?

Yes, as odd as it may seem I want rubys to be re-added too (I am comparing to all the negative criticism) I think it is well balanced since Mesa plateau biomes are rare and it would be like 10 times harder to find than diamonds, and it still isn't too much more powerful than diamonds.

I have added the link to my post. Sorry I just forgot to add it. Anyways... At least I have one person supporting me! I've been getting a lot of hate on this! I know that there have been a lot of suggestions on this but I thought mine would be at least a little better than those because I was more specific with the thing about the Mesa Plateau Biomes. Also none of the other ones mention anything about crafting Ruby Blocks or Ruby Horse Armor being a loot in chests in dungeons, abandoned mine-shafts, Nether Fortresses, strongholds, etc. Anyway thanks for the support!

Well here is the link to website that told me Ruby was going to have armor and tools so if this website is wrong then I'll just delete the whole post!!! http://minecraft.wikia.com/wiki/Ruby

You don't need to be so mean about how bad this idea is! I just thought it would be kind of cool if this existed. I tried not to make it too OP but apparently you guys think diamond is enough and we don't need any better armor. I don't agree with that though so I'll just make a mod with Rubies in it.

Just for fun to see what info I can find I went on Google and looked up Emeralds. Just because it's a habit I went to the images. I saw all these pictures of Emerald Tools and Armor and I thought "That would be so cool if it was real!!!!" Then I found a link to something called "Rubies" and I didn't know if it was real or not so I clicked on it. I found out, before it was replaced by Emeralds, Rubies had Armor and Tools that were better than diamond! I think Rubies should be brought back to Minecraft! Not as a replacement to anything but just as a new item.

Each piece of armor would be 1 armor point (Half Armor.svg) better than diamond making the full set total to 24 armor points (Armor.svg × 12)(25 max with enchantments). Of course Ruby Horse Armor would also be available as a loot in chests in dungeons, abandoned mine-shafts, Nether Fortresses, strongholds, etc. to protect your riding companions. The Ruby Sword would have 10 attack damage (15.50 would be the max with enchantments). There would also be Ruby Shovels, Pickaxes, Axes, and Hoes which do the same thing as always but better. I was thinking that maybe there could be a new special tool made out of Rubies or one of the regular tools has extra uses but I couldn't think of any good ideas for this so suggestions are recommended.

Rubies are as rare as Emeralds but, rather than being found in Extreme Hills Biomes, Rubies are found in Mesa Plateau Biomes. Also you would be able to make Ruby blocks that are a red version of Emerald Blocks. Obviously the blocks, tools and armor (except for Horse Armor) are crafted in the normal way. I've tried not to make this too OP by making Rubies very hard to find, the max protection of the armor only 5 Armor Points (Armor.svgArmor.svgHalf Armor.svg) better than diamond and the max attack damage of the sword only 2.25 attack damage better than the max level of a diamond sword. If you think this is still OP please give me a good reason why you think so and I can do something about it. There are some pictures of what Rubies look like in the Attachments.

    Quote from Cerroz»

So... there's one option for seasons and one option for the disadvantages? That seems pointless. Why not just have seasons implemented in the game normally (in other words, turned on permanently) while not having the disadvantages at all? If you have to make things optional, that means you got broken, unbalanced things in the suggestion. Things being optional is generally a cheap blanket to avoid negativity and it rarely saves a suggestion.

I really see a good reason why the overheating and freezing need to be there. I mean, I understand you're trying to create challenges for the player, but overall, this just hinders and slows gameplay. There's tons of things to do in Minecraft, and micromanaging if we're gonna fry or freeze is just a headache.

I can just see people trying to flank mobs or run from/dodge them and trying to maintain their body temperature or whatever. Not fun. Having debuffs in seasons can work, just don't have them directly affect the player's condition where they have to micromanage.

They would really only have to worry about their temperature in Summer or Winter which isn't that hard if you put armor on (because a helmet can protect you from the sun and other armor can keep you warm). Also it is even easier to keep your temperature in the "green" range if your not exposed to the outside conditions (inside your house, in a cave, etc.). So you would really only have to micromanagement to worry about if your are outside in Summer or Winter without armor... plus if you just remember to carry around a water bottle with you in the Summer and who doesn't have a couple of torches on them to warm up if you get too cold?

This suggestion being optional doesn't change anything. If the idea is something that puts players at pointless disadvantages, then most players will just leave the option off anyway.

Well if you can turn them off separately (like I said) then the seasons have no disadvantages! Which I also said in the suggestion.

posted a message on Chain Armor crafting recipe/Chain Item
    Quote from megabyte12345»

There's about 77 iron ores in a single chunk, so I highly doubt that would happen.

Well what if a map maker specifically made it hard to find iron so the people who play the map are forced to make Chain Armor? That could also be a reason why it is a good idea to have a crafting recipe for this armor.
